One of the inspirations for Her Dying Day is the 1926 disappearance of Agatha Christie. She was eventually found, but I thought, “What if she hadn’t been found? What if she’d never been heard from again?” And the concept for Her Dying Day was born.

I specifically selected these three books because the first features the disappearance of an author, the second is a fictionalized story about Dame Christie’s disappearance, and the third introduces us to Hercule Poirot.

The coffee mug and Converse sneaker key chain give you a taste of June Masterson’s personality and fashion sense. (My own Converse shoe collection increased during the writing of this book.)
