A little conversation after we measured the boys’ heights today.
Me: Huh. H is about a half an inch taller than E when he was that age.
E: (panicked) Does that mean he’s taller than me?!?
Mark: Naw. That means your just about the same height.
E: It does?
Mark: Yeah. You know. Like me and Uncle Erik. We’re practically the same height.
Me: Really. Is that what you call a 2-inch height difference.
Mark: Well, that’s what *I* call it.
